Fun fact: Chris is a very keen runner, running multiple marathons a year - all fuelled by tempeh, of course!
Amadeus Driando Ahnan-Winarno
Co-Founder // Technology
Driando is a food scientist-entrepreneur-artist whose life mission is to give people access to affordable, nutritious, and sustainable plant-based protein sources through tempeh - which, growing up in Bogor in Indonesia, he’s been eating since he was a baby!
Fun fact: Ando is a very talented musician and loves nothing more than playing with his band (well, except for tempeh!).

Fabio is a food scientist with a passion for plant-based food and Indonesian culture, through which he realised the potential of tempeh in creating a more sustainable future. He also has lots of experience in developing delicious plant-based protein products!
Fun fact: There are three pillars to Fabio’s life: playing ultimate frisbee, drinking Italian coffee and anything to do with tempeh!

Elin is a marketing strategist who’s passionate about making the world a happier, fairer and more sustainable place. As part of this, she’s been a long-time advocate of plant-based eating, having been veggie for almost 10 years and vegan for over 5!
Fun fact: Elin is a huge animal lover - she’s at her happiest when she’s surrounded by furry friends (with a bowl of tempe kecap in hand, obviously!).
Head of Research
Elvira is yet another food science whizz in the Better Nature team! Elvira’s main interest is the relation between food and health, so she’s keen to help people increase their nutrition intake naturally and sustainably through developing the world’s most nutritious tempeh-based products.
Fun fact: Elvira loves nothing more than some salsa - the dance and to dip her tempeh in it!
Head of Social & Sustainability
Noora is a multi-talented sustainability guru whose main passions are food waste and ethical, low-impact living. She’s previously headed up the sales for another vegan food start-up and has been vegan herself for over 4 years, so she knows good plant-based food!
Fun fact: Noora is a big advocate for the DeRose method and eating copious amounts of tahini (tahini + tempeh = heaven).
Head of Design
Ursa is a true jack-of-all-trades when it comes to all things design and creativity. Besides her passion for making things look pretty, fun and engaging, she’s also a food enthusiast with a newfound love for tempeh since becoming vegan more than a year ago.
Fun fact: Ursa loves to paint, and she’s found her new muse in tempeh!
Lidwina Krisna Chrysanti
Lidwina is a food biotechnology extraordinaire who loves nothing more than running research, especially on tempeh. Even though tempeh is well-known in Indonesia, where she is from, she is driven to ensure that people there appreciate how incredible it is in terms of its health and environmental benefits, as well as those further afield.
Fun fact: Lidwina loves to sing so much that she even serenades her soybeans before they go into the incubator!
Anand is a social-scientist-turned-sales-expert who wants nothing more than to build a more compassionate food industry and satisfy hungry tummies along the way. How does he aim to do this? Tempeh, of course!
Fun fact: There are 3 things Anand can’t live without: tempeh, football, and loud bassy music. His neighbours love him!
Thalis is a food scientist who's committed to creating a more sustainable food system, which she believes we can achieve by promoting and innovating on delicious plant-protein foods. She's also a fermented foods enthusiast, so needless to say she found her new passion in tempeh!
Fun fact: Thalis loves drawing, and never goes anywhere without her pastels (and a bowl of tempeh, of course!)
