Peanut & Sesame BBQ Tempeh Udon Noodles

Udon Noodles coated in a peanut and sesame dressing served with our BBQ Tempeh Pieces. This dish can be garnished with thinly sliced spring onion and sesame seeds.

ingredients

Dressing

  • 2 tsp sesame
  • 1/2 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp agave
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp peanut butter
  • noodle cooking water (as much as needed to slightly thin the paste) 

Garnish

  • spring Onion
  • sesame Seeds
  • cucumber 

instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, add the suggested measurements under the dressing category in the ingredient list. Mix well to form a coherent paste. 
  2. Add the noodles into boiling water and cook to the suggested package cooking instructions. 
  3. Add a 1/2 tbsp of vegetable oil to a medium - high heat saucepan. Add the BBQ Tempeh Pieces on the pan and sauté for 4 - 5 minutes until heated through.
  4. Add the cooked noodles and the BBQ Tempeh Pieces to the dressing and mix well. Garnish with some thinly sliced spring onion, sesame seeds and a squeeze of lime. Serve immediately.
